The word Kensa comes from the native language of Cornwall and loosely translates to ‘first’ or ‘best’.
No, we never claimed to be modest (besides, there’s no point aspiring to be mediocre). Our founders studied in Cornwall and that’s where the idea was born, so it felt like a fitting tribute.
We’re also quite partial to a pasty.
