We’re looking for a Marketing Account Manager who can handle creating marketing strategies and briefs one day, and turn their hand to nurturing our client base the next.
You’ll play a pivotal role in the agency, sitting in the middle of our creative engine. In this role you’ll need to keep projects on track, clients smiling and ideas flowing. You’ll also become part of the future development of the agency, helping to create trusted relationships with existing clients, whilst looking for opportunities to work with new and exciting leads.
You’ll be the strategic bridge between our creative teams and a portfolio of your own clients, turning ambitious briefs into beautifully organised, brilliantly delivered campaigns. One day you’ll be helping a client develop a strategy to meet their objectives, the next you’re crafting on brand messaging to support a campaign, or developing a brief for one of our creative teams. You’ll also become a core part of the agency’s internal marketing team, helping craft ideas and deliverables to support the growth of the agency.
Account management with a strategic streak
You’ll have your own portfolio of clients, build long‑term client relationships and help shape content and campaigns that actually land with real people. Based in our Marketing team, you’ll plug into everything from design and video to web and strategic marketing.
What you’ll get
- A flexible, informal studio environment that cares about quality output more than presenteeism
- A competitive salary based on what you bring to the team
- 31 days’ holiday including bank holidays, plus your birthday off (after 1 year of service)
- A great benefits package including pension, healthcare cash plan and high‑spec kit
- Training opportunities, free refreshments and regular team days
- Bike to Work scheme
- Free EV charging on site
- Phone scheme
- The opportunity to buy additional holiday days
- A 4‑day working week after probation
The role
Project Management
Preflight & Strategic Setup
- Build timelines that actually work in real life, structuring projects so the right people are in the right place at the right time.
- Effective project set-up: Review client assets, sense‑check the brief, and make sure everything is on‑brand and ready to fly, using Dropbox and project management tools to keep everyone aligned.
Briefing Translation & Team Activation
- Translate client‑speak into clear, actionable briefs the team can get excited about.
- Make sure everyone knows what they’re doing, why it matters and when it’s due – then keep the momentum going.
- Write clear, accurate copy for things like scripts, webpages, brochures and social posts.
Progress Management & Client Communication
- Keep clients in the loop without them ever needing to chase.
- Watch the timelines, spot issues before they explode and plan ahead so projects keep moving smoothly.
Revision Management & Budget Protection
- Gather and organise feedback so it’s clear, actionable and doesn’t derail the work.
- Handle scope changes like a pro – protecting budgets, timelines and sanity while being totally transparent about impacts.
Quality Assurance & Standards
- Sense‑check creative against the brief, brand and objectives before it ever hits the client’s inbox.
- Make sure what we deliver not only meets expectations, but quietly shows off a bit too.
Client management
Strategic Project Briefing
- Ask the right questions up front, so you actually know what success looks like.
- Spot risks early – technical, timing or otherwise – and pull in the right people to solve them.
- Document everything – so the project doesn’t live in your head alone!
Client Onboarding & Industry Intelligence
- Get under the skin of the client’s world – their goals, pressure points and opportunities.
- Learn the language of their industry and understand where they sit in the market.
- Use that insight to shape better recommendations and smarter work.
Commercial Excellence
- Build accurate quotes and get all the approvals lined up properly.
- Help shape proposals for bigger opportunities and flagship projects.
- Keep an eye on commercial reality while still delivering serious value.
Relationship Management & Growth
- Stay close to your clients with regular, meaningful touchpoints – not just status calls for the sake of it.
- Identify opportunities to suggest new and impactful ideas to create real success for clients
- Keep a running “wish list” of future projects that support their growth (and ours)
- Be proactive in outreaching to prospective clients, introducing them to Kensa and our skillset
Creative Output
- Have strong copywriting and proofreading skills to assist with the delivery of your client projects
- Be able to create and share ideas with our internal team – and not be afraid too!
- Have insight into our industry and use this knowledge to support in the creation of campaigns and marketing deliverables for the agency
- Bonus for experience within social media management, SEO or PPC
You’ll need to have

- 2+ years’ experience in marketing (in-house or agency side)
