We’re on the lookout for a talented Creative Designer to help shape ideas into campaigns, brands and visuals that stand out from the crowd. If you love crafting concepts, building brands and bringing strategic thinking to life through bold, well-crafted design – this is the role for you!
You’ll work across a broad mix of exciting client projects, from fully fledged campaigns to thoughtfully crafted brand identities, and everything needed to launch them into the real world. You’ll bring big-picture thinking and hands-on skills using Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
Working at Kensa
We run an informal, friendly studio environment where you’ll have the freedom to develop your strengths and really make the role your own. You’ll be surrounded by a wider team of designers, animators, developers and marketeers where you can thrive and broaden your skillset. Expect the latest software, a shiny Mac and as much coffee as you can drink (plus the occasional pizza).
Previous experience
At least 2 years experience in a creative agency is recommended for this role, with senior experience welcomed. In‑house roles will be considered if you can show a varied portfolio, strong conceptual thinking and exceptional creative flair.
You’ll need to have:
- A stand-out portfolio showcasing real-world projects and the very best of what you can do.
- A strategic mindset – you’re comfortable bringing strategy and creative together, and can confidently explain the why behind your ideas.
- Experience taking brands from concept through to guidelines and practical activation across channels.
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) as a minimum.
- Confidence using Figma for UX design, prototyping and presenting ideas.
- Great teamwork and collaboration skills; you thrive in a creative environment, enjoy bouncing ideas around and play nicely with others.
- Confident dealing with clients directly – presenting work and taking on board feedback with communicating updates.
It’s a bonus if you bring:
- Some project management experience – scheduling tasks and managing workflows to meet deadlines.
- Curiosity towards the use of AI workflows to support efficiency without losing originality or craft.
- Motion graphics or basic video editing skills which you can bring into design projects.
You’ll get
A competitive salary based on what you can bring to the team – we’re open to mid-weight through to senior level, depending on experience and portfolio. You’ll also get a great benefits package and a genuinely nice environment to work in. This is a full-time, permanent role.
Expect 31 days’ holiday including bank holidays (plus your birthday off), pension, health cash plan, high‑spec kit, training opportunities, free refreshments and regular team days.
- A flexible, informal studio environment built around quality output rather than box-ticking
- A benefits package including a health cash plan and a 4-day working week after probation
