Complete novices are welcome at Timber Jacks and they’re happy to give you some basic tuition, though you do have to sign a disclaimer that you’ll be sober during the session so if you do somehow end up maimed/dead, it’s your own fault.
Thankfully there were no axeidents and the only serious injuries were to our egos (it is deceptively tricky). Would recommend to anyone wanting something a little different / those with fantasies of being a woodsman and / or Vikings.
