We were approached by UFabrik, a global supplier of textiles for digital printing, to create a 2D animated video. The brief was to promote their fabric consignment service in an engaging way, whilst highlighting the benefits to potential customers.
The client brief was to communicate technical processes in a playful way to keep the viewer engaged. The challenge was to execute this creatively, whilst showcasing the expertise of the brand. Following an internal creative concept phase, we presented the client with four design directions to chose from, all keeping their company branding and message at the forefront.
Once the client has selected their chosen direction, we created a script to help shape the narrative of the animation and flow of the messaging. Once approved, our illustration team combined the script with the chosen style to rollout the remaining storyboard scenes.
The storyboard combined a series of graphics with on screen text to highlight key selling points and help make technical information easier to understand and digest. This phase of the project included working closely with the client to ensure key messaging was conveyed correctly, whilst remaining creative and engaging, adapting any visuals required throughout the process.
Following an in-depth review stage by the team at UFabrik, we brought the storyboard to life with smooth, polished 2D animations.
All motion graphics were synced with a professional voiceover and sound design. Post edit, we provided the client with an alternate version that included on screen subtitles, to support accessibility.
The client was so happy with the final outcome, they asked us to create another version, with Polish translation, to reach even more audiences. We see that as a job well done!
