We worked with NFCC to capture the training and community work they do in partnership with the Prince’s Trust. This on-location filming project took place across multiple sites including fire stations, training facilities and youth centres to capture the people and places involved in the initiative.
We documented some of the daily duties carried out by Fire Chiefs who help organise and run the programme, including live training exercises, and interviews about the role they play in fire prevention and community support. We even experienced on-call fire officers heading off to attend real emergencies during the film shoot itself!
The project also involved filming short interviews at a local fire station with disadvantaged young people, coaching them to speak about their experiences on camera. As part of the programme, we documented these individuals taking part in training exercises, learning about fire prevention and supporting their local communities.
