International best-selling author, Mark Edwards, approached us to revamp his tired and outdated website into a fresh online experience. Mark wanted his website to not only promote his latest releases, but to also become a hub for his dedicated fanbase and somewhere to truly connect with his community.
Our solution was to put Mark at front and centre – after all, he is the brand! The journey begins with an iconic montage of the mastermind himself, giving readers a flavour of his nail-biting novels before diving into a vast library of works. Think sophisticated bookshop with just the right amount of macabre.
A key part of the brief was community engagement. We developed a variety of bespoke features including a book club, new reader’s guide, downloadable short stories and an online store for the purchase of limited-edition merchandise, with a variety of social feeds providing a constant stream of consciousness from Mark himself.
